Privacy policy
Last updated 12 July 2026
Time Tango is run by Wyvern Services Limited, a New Zealand company. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: the information you put into Time Tango is used to run your event, and for nothing else. We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we collect
- Organiser accounts. Name, email address and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash) for the people who run events.
- Participant information. Names, email addresses, organisation names and meeting choices for the people taking part in an event. This is usually entered by the event organiser, or by participants themselves when they book or request a meeting.
- Payment details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep a record of what was purchased, the amount, and the buyer's email address.
- Technical records. Standard server logs and email delivery records (which message went to which address, and whether it arrived) so we can support your event and investigate problems.
What we use it for
- Running the event: schedules, bookings, seating and run sheets.
- Sending the emails the event needs: confirmations, access links, reminders and organiser announcements. Replies go to your event organiser, not to a machine.
- Support, billing and keeping the service secure.
We only use cookies that sign you in and keep you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on Time Tango.
Who processes it for us
Like most software, Time Tango is built on a small number of service providers, each used only for the job named here: Supabase (our database, hosted in Sydney, Australia), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending email) and Stripe (payments). Each holds only what it needs to do that job.
How long we keep it
Event data is kept while the organiser's account is active so past events can be referred back to. If you are a participant and want your details removed from an event, ask the organiser, or contact us directly and we will handle it.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email hello@timetango.app and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the change here and update the date at the top.
